1501593
location:
Stikine River, Wrangell Island, Wrangell-Petersburg Borough, Alaska, USA
description:
Two deep red lustrous sharply formed crystals of almandine, the largest 3.5 cm across, set aesthetically upon an 11.0 x 9.0 x 2.5 cm schist matrix. These crystal show all the way around and only show the most minimal of micro-chipping. I think in very fine condition, an excellent example for the species and this classic locality. Shipping weight: 0.64 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
Size: 11.0 x 9.0 x 2.5 cm (cabinet)
