Dark red glassy crystal of almandine 3.0 cm across set nicely along the side of a 7.0 x 6.5 x 2.0 cm schist matrix. The crystal as well exposed and shows nicely all around. Very minimal micro-contacting present, I think in very good condition. Good example for this classic locality. Shipping weight: 0.28 pounds. Ex Chris and Agatha Galas collection.
