Purplish red lustrous well formed crystal of almandine 2.5 cm across standing up nicely from a 7.0 x 4.5 x 2.0 cm schist matrix. Micro-chipping present but sparse, this is in very good condition and shows nicely all around. Good example for this classic locality. Shipping weight: 0.24 pounds. Ex Chris and Agatha Galas collection.
