A grouping of large deep red sharp almandine crystals, the grouping 6.5 cm across, standing up beautifully from a schist matrix. Like most all of these Alpine classics, this is been worked out of the schist matrix to expose the crystals and some kind of a coating has been applied to the crystals. Measures 9.0 x 7.0 x 5.0 cm in size. This is classic Alpine material. Shipping weight: 0.84 pounds. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
