description:
Thin platy crystals of ankerite averaging 1.0 cm in size forming a cluster with glassy gemmy colorless crystals of quartz. Some chipping is present to some of the quartz crystals, this mainly confined to what I consider the backside of the specimen. This is a good example for the species from this old Arkansas locality.
