Large pseudo-hexagonal crystals of aragonite to 7.0 cm across covering the front side of a 12.5 x 10.0 x 7.0 cm matrix. Needle like crystals of calcite completely cover the aragonite crystals and may actually be replacing them. Minor sulfur present as well. This is in excellent condition and sits up perfectly by itself for display. An excellent Sicilian classic. Shipping weight: 2.11 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
