Arsenic with Stibnite, Quartz

specimen number:
1653836

location:
San Genaro, Huancavelica, Peru

description:

Lead gray crystallized groupings of native arsenic to 0.5 cm in diameter across the top of a crystallized quartz matrix with minor stibnite. The quartz crystals appear to be forming replacements after now gone bladed crystals of barite. Very minimal micro-damage present. This is a very fine example for the species.
