Axinite-Fe (324)

specimen number:
8811449

location:
Puiva, Saranpaul, Polar Urals, Russia

A large loose gem glassy crystal of axinite. Unlike most from this locality, this one is extremely sharp and in super condition. There is none of the little chipping that is often seen on most of the crystals from here. Wonderful example for the species.
