An absolutely superb large cabinet quality piece for the species, this showing sharp lustrous brown translucent crystals of axinite to 3.0 cm in length scattered across the top of this matrix covered by sparkling green needlelike crystals of epidote. I'm sure one confined tiny micro-chipping somewhere up on this piece, to the naked eye believe this piece in terrific condition.
