Brilliant blue bladed crystals of azurite to 1.0 cm in size throughout a large open pocket in this matrix with minor malachite. This is in very good condition with just minimal chipping along the edges of the pocket is to be expected. Really fine for the locality, previous label notes that this was collected in March, 1998 in the Manganese Blue area of the Morenci pit.
