Azurite
specimen number:
8282324
location:
Hanover #2 mine, Grant Co., New Mexico, USA
description:
Attractive lustrous blue crystal groupings of azurite measuring to almost 1.0 cm in size studded across the front of this white clay rich matrix. I have had many specimens from this locality over the years, almost all of them have been thumbnail sized loose clusters without matrix. I think that this matrix example is really fine. This one is in great condition.
