Azurite with Cerussite
specimen number:
1281010
location:
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia
description: Choice combination specimen with twinned colorless glassy cerussite crystals at the top of a breccia matrix with a deep blue lustrous terminated azurite 3.0 cm in length. Micro-chipping is present but overall I think this in great condition as seen. Good combination specimens of azurite with cerussite from Tsumeb were never common. Ref: Gebhard, G. (1999): Tsumeb II.
