Pale blue large thick blocky crystals of barite measuring to 3.0 cm in size across the top of matrix. The crystals are slightly rounded, that is typical of this old locality. This is an impressive large example that come from here. In great condition for what this is. The specimen comes with numerous previous labels, most from the collection of noted author Arthur Smith. It also comes with a personal collection label from Diana and I. This might be slightly aesthetically challenged, but it is really impressive for this locality. Collected in 1958.
