A beautiful old-time classic Ohio specimen showing a large grouping of amber colored translucent calcite crystals 14.0 x 13.0 x 6.0 cm in size, this scattered richly throughout with colorless to slightly bluish blocky crystals of barite to 1.0 cm in size. The barite shows all around. The calcite on the backside shows cleavages. Still I think in very good condition with only extremely minimal micro-cleaving to some of the calcite crystals on the front, combinations with these two species in such size and quality are rarely seen available today. Old-time piece collected in the 1960s. Shipping weight: 3.51 pounds.
