Barite with Calcite

description:
Neat colorless orthorhombic crystals of barite to 1.5 cm in length on a yellow crystallized calcite matrix. Minimal micro-chipping present, still in very good condition. Note that this is not from the same locality that is usually seen on the market at Elk Creek, but from Butte County. The barite certainly appears different, but the yellow calcite looks like Elk Creek.
