description: A beautiful large combination specimen showing lustrous translucent large blocky crystals of barite measuring to 5.0 cm in size very thick throughout the top side of this 26.0 x 21.0 x 4.0 cm dark orange botryoidal orpiment crystal covered matrix. The backside is richly scattered with deep red realgar crystals to 1.5 cm in size. There's very minimal micro-chipping on one of the barite crystal edges, overall I think in fantastic condition for what this is. Slight rubbing to the orpiment near the top and minimal chipping to the realgar crystals on the backside are present. Overall I think in very good condition, this is an extremely attractive combination piece. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
