Barite with Quartz
specimen number:
1653870
location:
Xiefang Mine, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China
description:
A sugary crystallized white quartz matrix, this hosting small gemmy amber colored crystals of barite to 0.4 cm in size. This is crystallized all around and in very good condition. In some places the quartz appears to be replacing previous octahedral crystals of fluorite. The previous label is shown at the end of the video, do note however that the locality provided there is incorrect. We will still include the label with the specimen.
