Pale blue lustrous bladed crystals of barite very choice across the top of a crystallized sphalerite matrix with minor calcite. In great condition. Several previous labels come with the specimen, one of these noting that the specimen at one time was part of the collection of well-known midwest United States collector Rex Bannister. That would date this specimen pre-1980.
