A light pink glassy gemmy somewhat naturally etched crystal of beryl, the variety some call morganite. There are no points of attachment, this is in terrific condition all around. Classic for the species and locality.

Sao Geraldo do Baixio, located in the eastern region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, is situated within the famous Eastern Brazilian Pegmatite Province. Historically, the area has developed through artisanal and small-scale mining operations targeting rich pegmatite bodies for gemstones and accessory minerals. Geologically, the region features an intricate system of granitic pegmatite veins cutting through older Precambrian metamorphic and igneous basement rocks under semi-arid conditions. These complex pegmatites formed via fractional crystallization and hydrothermal processes, making the local occurrences, such as the Jaboti Mine, internationally notable among mineral collectors for producing beryls, elbaites, etc.
