description: This is a wonderful large example for this mineral. A metallic semi lustrous incredibly large and sharp crystal of native bismuth, this set on a matrix of massive golden chalcopyrite. In super condition. There are negative casts on the backside of this piece, probably after quartz crystals now gone. This is seen in the video. Outstanding for this mineral. The Piaotang Mine, located in Dayu County within Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, China, is situated in the Nanling metallogenic belt, a region globally famous for its massive reserves of tungsten and rare metals.
