At Boleo, boleite occurs in association with other rare secondary minerals such as cumengeite and pseudoboleite, often forming sharp, lustrous cubes that are highly prized by collectors. Specimens from this locality are considered among the finest examples of the mineral, making boleite from Boleo an important part of both mineralogical study and collecting history.
