specimen number:

location:
Carn Brea Mine, Illogan, Cornwall, England, UK
description:
Superb crystallized bornite stacking one on top of the other to form stalactites to almost 2.0 cm in length. These are covering the top of an 8.0 x 6.0 x 3.0 cm thin matrix. Not absolutely perfect with a few broken stalactite terminations, most all of the prominent ones in excellent condition. Quite unique and especially fine for the species. Ex Ed Raines collection.
Size: 8.0 x 6.0 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
