Lustrous scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to almost 6.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix. Classic specimen from this mining district, this would have been collected in the 1960s. Some cleaving is present as seen. Typical of these from this time period, this has been dipped in acid.
