location:
Consolidated Zinc Mine, Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia
description:
Very neat large cabinet well crystallized example for the species at this famous mining district. The top side of a 23.0 x 11.0 x 3.0 cm matrix is covered by translucent pearly hemispherical shaped crystal groupings of calcite measuring to 4.5 cm in diameter. I can find a couple of areas with very tiny micro-chipping present, overall I think in very good condition. Neat example dating to the 1970s. Shipping weight: 1.93 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
Size: 23.0 x 11.0 x 3.0 cm (large-cabinet)
