Calcite
specimen number:
1602963
location:
Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description:
Stacked rhombohedral translucent crystals of calcite, the ultimate result a double terminated crystal grouping on matrix. This is in terrific condition. This is not from one of the prolific lead mines of the Viburnum Trend in this county, this is coming from surface exposures completely unrelated. These are not common and this is a very good one.
