Thick crystals of calcite measuring to 3.2 cm in size across a chert matrix. This is in good condition. The specimen exhibits multi-generations of crystal growth, the first stage the crystals are sort of amber colored and show translucency. The latter stage shows white opaque crystals. Classic 1960s vintage specimen.
