Calcite
specimen number:
2013127
location:
Buick Mine, Viburnum Trend, Iron Co., Missouri, USA
description: A beautiful large cabinet piece with golden yellow lustrous translucent to transparent crystals of calcite measuring to 11.0 cm in size across all sides of a brecciated matrix. This is in very good condition with slight cleaving on what I consider to be the backside of the piece as seen in the video. Many of the crystals are double terminated. This would have been collected in the mid 1980s.
