Lustrous mostly transparent crystals of calcite measuring to 2.5 cm in size across the top of matrix. This is in good condition. The crystals exhibit dark phantom crystals as seen.

The Shaft 371, located near Hartenstein in the Zwickau district of the Ore Mountains in Saxony, Germany, is part of the legendary Schlema-Hartenstein mining area. Historically, the site became one of the largest and deepest uranium mining operations in Europe under the Soviet-German SDAG Wismut company, reaching depths of over 1,800 meters and extracting vast quantities of uranium ore from the mid-twentieth century until its closure in 1991. Geologically, the deposit is situated within complex metamorphic and gneiss-dominant host rocks cut by extensive hydrothermal vein systems. These veins formed through multi-stage fluid activity that deposited rich uranium and silver ores, alongside specimens of minerals such as anhydrite, argentopyrite, calcite, and dolomite.
