Calcite
specimen number:
3651170
location:
Equity mine, Creede, Mineral Co., Colorado, USA
description:
Lustrous light pink translucent pearly crystals of calcite averaging 1.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix. I think in good condition with only minimal chipping along the edges. The previous labels referred to this is kutnohorite. I think that this is a manganese rich calcite. Quite good for this locality.
