description:
A large breccia matrix, this scattered throughout with beautiful golden yellow partly transparent and in very lustrous calcite crystals measuring to 4.0 cm in length. There are maybe three crystals with cleaved terminations, these along the edges of the matrix to the left and down low and really inconsequential on the specimen. I think that this piece is in super condition. Minor galena, dolomite, and chalcopyrite present as well. This is crystallized completely all around. The specimen was mined on November 25, 2022. A really fine large cabinet example from this American classic.
