Calcite
specimen number:
4571053
location:
Jose Maria Patoni, San Juan del Rio, Durango, Mexico
description:
Beautifully twinned colorless, lustrous, and gemmy, crystals of calcite to 3.0 cm in size on matrix. All of the prominent crystals are in great condition all around. Very minimal cleaving to some of the small crystals close to the matrix. I think a very neat and attractive example.
Size: 7.5 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Catherine J. & Bruce Paul Gaber
