Very neat old-time geode from the 1960s lined with calcite and showing very pale pink scalenohedral crystals of calcite to almost 6.0 cm in length. There are several generations of crystallization present, with the first being light Brown slightly iridescent rhombohedral crystals, these overlain by colorless pearly rhombohedral crystals. The scalenohedral crystals come last. In excellent condition and quite good for this classic locality. The larger geode half measures 13.0 x 12.5 x 8.5 cm. Shipping weight: 3.85 pounds.
