The front side of this 18.0 x 10.5 x 4.0 cm matrix is covered by Brown slightly iridescent crystallized calcite. Scattered throughout the top of this are white scalenohedral groupings of brushy calcite crystals, the largest grouping 3.5 cm across. In very good condition with only minimal micro-chipping present. The matrix is been trimmed using a saw. Collected in the 1960s from one of the old now abandoned coal mines from this area. Shipping weight: 2.22 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
