Wonderful old-time classic Illinois specimen showing to groupings of creamy colorless terminated calcite crystals to 5.0 cm in length over the top of translucent to near transparent purple semi-lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite covering the top of an 18.0 x 11.0 x 4.5 cm matrix. Very tiny chalcopyrite present as well. Extremely minimal micro-chipping present, overall this is in very fine condition. This mine worked during the 1970s and the specimens from here are quite distinctive. This is a good one. Shipping weight: 2.45 pounds. Previous collection label from Roy A. Smith.
