description:
Classic New Mexico specimen with colorless translucent crystals of calcite to almost 1.0 cm in size over the top of this matrix with sky-blue acicular crystallized aurichalcite. This appears to be goethite replacing a scalenohedral calcite, then coated with aurichalcite and calcite. Very slight micro-chipping present but still in good condition. Shows well all around.
