description:
Well-balanced specimen with a near gemmy yellow lustrous crystal of calcite 4.5 cm in length set perfectly in the center of a crystallized galena, dolomite, chalcopyrite crystal matrix. This prominent crystal is in superb condition all around. Slight chipping on the matrix showing minor calcite cleavages from a crystal that was present and is now gone. This is difficult to see and overall I think the piece in very good condition. Sits perfectly by itself or display.
