description: Spectacular large cabinet piece showing golden yellow lustrous translucent scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 6.0 cm in size very nice across the top of this matrix hosting bright lustrous botryoidal crystallized galena and pyrite. This is in excellent condition. The crystal habit for the galena is very unusual from this mining district.
