Colorless mostly gemmy and lustrous scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to just under 2.0 cm in height coming off of a crystallized hedenbergite matrix. In good condition, the calcite crystals are brilliantly fluorescent red under longwave ultraviolet light.
