Calcite with Marcasite

description:
A cluster of calcite crystals 6.0 cm across perched beautifully up on a brecciated limestone matrix. Tiny crystals of marcasite present as inclusions. I am not positive, but I believe this one has been very quickly dipped and removed from acid to give it a little extra shine.
