Classic North American locality this combination, rhombohedral gemmy crystals of calcite to 2.0 cm in size are scattered across matrix with crystallized palygorskite. Often, this palygorskite the locality is referred to as mountain leather. This is in good condition. The specimen comes with several previous labels, including one from Ward's Natural Science Establishment.
