specimen number:
4961012
location:
west orebody, Sweetwater mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description: Lustrous partly gemmy golden yellow crystals of scalenohedral calcite measuring to 8.0 cm in height very aesthetic on matrix with crystallized dendritic pyrite. This is in really good condition, there is one minor crystal on the back of the piece, this not seen when the specimen is properly displayed, that has a cleaved termination. All of the prominent crystals are in great condition and in my opinion the quality is excellent.
