description:
Yellow glassy translucent almost transparent crystals of calcite, both double terminated in the largest a 5.5 cm in length, set on matrix with micro crystalline pyrite replacing octahedral crystals of galena to 2.0 cm in size. Very slight rubbing on one crystal, still in good condition all around. Previous label calls this a pseudomorph after fluorite, it is most certainly pyrite after galena and the pseudomorph is a hollow shell.
