description:

A large matrix plate covered with smoky quartz crystals. Scattered richly across the top of this are thin white platy crystals of calcite measuring to 0.8 cm in size. This is in really good condition. An exceptional large cabinet example for this old and long closed locality. The specimen comes with a previous label from British dealer Richard Barstow dating this piece to July, 1980.
