Spiky crystal grouping of calcite coming off typical quartz matrix for this area. This is a two generation calcite specimen with somewhat rounded frosted colorless translucent crystals forming a large cluster on the matrix, and then these top off with colorless slightly gemmy sceptered crystals. Preferential coatings of almost black quartz are present on the sceptered crystals. There is some damage along one side as seen in the photos. Measures 11.5 x 10.5 x 7.0 cm. Sits nicely for display and it does show well all around. Shipping weight: 1.34 pounds. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
