description:
Colorless mostly gemmy scalenohedral crystals of calcite, the showing natural etching, aesthetically arranged over this matrix covered with sparkling crystals of quartz to 0.5 cm in size. There is minimal cleaving present, but a lot of what you see is actually natural etching. I have seen a similar effect in calcite samples from the Brushy Creek Mine in the 1970's.
