description:
Very choice crystallized calcite specimen on matrix with quartz. This exhibits two generations, the first a darker brownish red scalenohedral crystal formation, growing over the top of these colorless transparent crystals of rhombohedral calcite. In very good condition with minimal cleaving on some edges of the piece only.
