The top of this matrix covered with glassy gemmy slightly amethystine crystals of quartz to 1.0 cm in size. Scalenohedral crystal groupings of calcite to 1.0 cm in height are scattered throughout, as well as lustrous brown needlelike micro crystals of goethite. In very good condition.
