description: Sharply formed sparkling colorless to reddish crystals of calcite to 1.5 cm in length covering one side of a 17.0 x 12.0 x 9.0 cm red quartz crystal matrix. This is a floater with no points of attachment and completely crystallized all around. Minor chalcopyrite present as well. The red coloration throughout is due to hematite. Sits nicely by itself for display as seen.
