Golden yellow gemmy scalenohedral crystal of lustrous calcite 2.5 cm in height on a breccia matrix coated with sparkling crystals of quartz. Golden crystallized pyrite and minor galena present. In good condition. The previous label that comes with the specimen gives an erroneous locality. There is no doubt that this one is from the Casteel number 35 mine.
