2023788
location:
Gordonsville Mine, Smith Co., Tennessee, USA
description: Amber colored gemmy glassy crystals of scalenohedral calcite measuring to 1.0 cm thick over the top of a 7.0 x 5.5 x 3.0 cm sparkling black lustrous sphalerite crystal matrix. Very minimal micro-cleaving to some of the calcite's, this true for all of these specimens of this type that have come from the locality over the years. I think this one in very good condition. Great color to the calcite make for an attractive piece. From material collected in the 1990s. Shipping weight: 0.27 pounds. Ex Chris and Agatha Galas collection.
Size: 7.0 x 5.5 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
